JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Janice Esbri, 43, was charged at 11:53 p.m. on Sunday with second-degree menacing. Officers responded to Lafayette Street for a report of a domestic dispute in progress with a weapon involved. An investigation found that Esbri allegedly displayed a knife to the victim and then charged the victim with the knife. Esbri was taken into custody and was awaiting arraignment.
Donald W. Dean Sr., 39, was charged at 4:15 a.m. on Monday with felony third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. Officers observed Dean entering a 7-11 store on Hazeltine Avenue and were aware of several warrants for his arrest. Dean was taken into custody, and during a search of his vehicle revealed quantities of cocaine, Suboxone strips and marijuana. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail and was held pending arraignment.
ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
Corey D. Thrasher, 18, of Carlton Avenue, Falconer, was charged on Saturday with unlawful possession of marijuana. Officers responded to a noise complaint in Falconer. Police allegedly found a small quantity of marijuana in Thrasher's possession. He was issued an appearance ticket and was scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
Blake T. Truver, 21; Patrick S. Seekings, 21; and Ryan D. Baker, 20, all of Jamestown, were charged on Monday with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and third-degree criminal trespassing. Officers responded to a complaint of subjects taking copper from a dumpster at Titan X. While responding, police observed a vehicle flee the scene. All three were found in possession of copper fins and were issued appearance tickets to be in Ellicott Court.
