Three Healthy Bones - Chautauqua County classes will be held starting in the fall.
Healthy Bones - Chautauqua County is a local exercise program designed using the routines and curriculum known as "StrongWomen" training.
Dr. Miriam Nelson, a professor at Tufts University in Boston, Mass., developed the training from her research concerning osteoporosis. The strength-training curriculum is designed specifically for midlife and older women and has been proven to help to increase strength, bone density, balance and energy and help midlife and older women to look and feel better.
