ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
Jessica M. Brown, 18, of Parkway Street, Silver Creek, and Anthony M. Shanks, 21, of Sinclairville, were charged on Saturday with petit larceny. Police responded to a shoplifting complaint at K-Mart on Fairmount Avenue. Brown and Shanks were taken into custody and are scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date to answer the charges.
Jacob Matherly, 20, of Jamestown, was charged on Friday with endangering the welfare of a child and fourth-degree criminal mischief. It was reported to Ellicott Police that Matherly had allegedly damaged the door of a vehicle while a child was in the back seat. The incident occurred during a domestic violence incident. Matherly was arraigned in Ellicott Court and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail.
Frank J. Orazio, 23, of Route 380, Stockton, was charged on Thursday with petit larceny. Police learned Orazio allegedly attempted to leave K-Mart on Fairmount Avenue with several items without permission or paying for them. He was issued appearance tickets to be in court at a later date.
Tyler T. Carroll, 23, of Salisbury Road, Jamestown, was charged with failure to keep right and driving while intoxicated. Police on April 11 responded to a vehicle into a pole on Fairmount Avenue. Following an investigation, Carroll was determined to be intoxicated at the time of the crash. He will be in Ellicott Court at a later date.
