CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
CHAUTAUQUA - Daniel J. W. Robertson, 35, of Sherman, was charged at 2:15 a.m. on Sunday with second-degree harassment and criminal obstruction of breathing or circulation. Deputies responded to a report of a domestic disturbance on Route 430 in Mayville. Police learned Robertson was the alleged aggressor. He was arraigned in Chautauqua Court and remanded to jail.
BEMUS POINT - Laura A. Taylor, 47, of Jamestown, was charged at 8:30 p.m. on Friday with unlawful possession of marijuana and no seatbelt. Stephanie M. Osman, 34, of Jamestown, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Deputies observed an operator of a motor vehicle without a seatbelt, police said. Taylor and Osman were identified and each was allegedly found to be in possession of small amounts of marijuana. Both were issued appearance tickets for Ellery Court.
BEMUS POINT - Andrew S. Hodges, 26, of Jamestown, was charged at 1:45 a.m. on Saturday with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment. Deputies were dispatched to a harassment complaint at the Hotel Lenhart. Police learned Hodges allegedly harassed and shoved an employee, and broke a lamp. He was issued appearance tickets for Ellery Court.
HANOVER - Kevin R. Hennigan, 44, of Elma, was charged at 1:15 p.m. on July 28 for petit larceny. Deputies were called to Kwik Fill on Routes 5 and 20 for an alleged larceny. It was learned Hennigan took money from a cancer donation canister that did not belong to him, police said. He was issued an appearance ticket to be in Hanover Court at a later date.
HANOVER - A 16-year-old male was charged on Sunday with third-degree unauthorized use of a vehicle. Deputies were called to a residence in Hanover for an alleged stolen vehicle. The missing vehicle was located a short distance from the residence and was found to have been involved in an accident with the driver leaving the scene. An investigation found that the vehicle was taken by a 16-year-old, who later crashed and left, police said. The youth was issued an appearance ticket to be in Hanover Court. Further charges are pending.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Jesus A. Lao-Santana, 33, was charged at 12:20 a.m. on Sunday with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment. Officers responded to West Seventh Street for a reported domestic dispute. An investigation revealed Leo-Santana allegedly punched the victim's bathroom wall, leaving two holes, police said. He also allegedly punched the victim three times during the dispute. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to Jamestown City Jail. He was awaiting arraignment.
Amanda K. Overbeck, 25, of Ashville, was charged at 4:34 a.m. on Saturday with speeding, driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater. William S. Emo, 24, of Jamestown, was taken into custody on a warrant from city court. Police observed a vehicle speeding on Allen Street. Overbeck was identified as the driver and found to be intoxicated. She was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail. Emo was a passenger in the vehicle and was found to have a warrant out from the city, police said. Both were awaiting arraignment.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Barry S. Cassevoy, 56, of Big Tree Road, was charged at 11 p.m. on Saturday with speed in zone, driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated per se. Police stopped a vehicle on Hunt Road for a traffic violation. Cassevoy was identified as the driver and was found to be intoxicated, police said. He was released with uniform traffic tickets and will be back in Busti Court at a later date.
