Patricia Lorraine Kilburn Hammond

WYNANTSKILL, N.Y. Patricia Lorraine Kilburn Hammond, age 85, died on Friday, June 28, 2013, at Evergreen Commons Nurs-ing Home in East Green-bush, N.Y. Born in Napoli, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Marion and Waive Noble Kilburn. She was the wife of the late Harold Howard Hammond. She attended school in Little Valley, N.Y. She was employed as a cook for 30 years at Acocks Medical Facility in Marquette, Mich., retiring in 1987. She was a member of the Church of the Covenant in Averill Park, N.Y., and enjoyed flower gardening, crafts and attending craft fairs. Survivors include her children, Wilma (David) Rundell of Wynantskill, William (Marie) Hammond of Erie, Pa., John (Martha) Hammond of Cherry Creek, N.Y., Roxanne (Curt) Bickel of Lake City, Pa., eight grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, a brother, Marshall Kilburn of Cattaraugus, N.Y., and a sister, Florencie Bryant of Little Valley. She was predeceased by a sister, Virginia Hutchison. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. The memorial service will be on Sunday, Aug. 4, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Van Rensselaer Funeral Home in Randolph, N.Y. A lunch for family and friends will be held following the service at the Randolph fire station. Donations to the Memorial Fund at the Church of the Covenant, 3055 New York 43, Averill Park, NY 12018 in memory of Pat would be appreciated.
