Jamestown Noon Rotary Club members recently honored Lee Harkness, with a Paul Harris Fellowship.
The presentation of Paul Harris Fellow recognition is the Rotary Foundation's way of expressing its appreciation for Harkness' $1,000 contribution to the humanitarian and educational programs of the Rotary Foundation.
The award is named for Paul Harris, the founder of Rotary International in 1905. The certificate the honoree receives states, "You have been named a Paul Harris Fellow in appreciation of tangible and significant assistance given for the furtherance of better understanding and friendly relations between peoples of the world."
