The WCD Boys & Girls Club of Jamestown and Chautauqua Opportunities will have a special Family Night on Thursday from 6:30-8 p.m.
The first Thursday of every month is in collaboration with Chautauqua Opportunities and features a special "Dedicated Dads" activity. These activities are designed for male role models and the children in their lives. This can include dads, step-dads, grandfathers, uncles, cousins or neighbors.
For August they will be tie-dying pillow cases. All supplies will be provided and there is no charge to participate in this event. Participants may also bring a white T-shirt if they would like to tie-dye that as well.
The Boys & Girls Club offers Family Night every Thursday from 6-9 p.m. Families must come together and stay together with parents supervising their children in program areas. The game rooms and computer lab are open from 6-9. Swimming is open from 6:30-8:30. Lifeguards are on duty but parents must be in the pool or pool area while their children swim.
The third Thursday of every month is our Family Plus event. For Aug. 15, there will be a Grocery Bingo Fun Night where families can play bingo to win grocery prizes.
The cost for family night is $1 for non members (ages 5 and up) and free for members and those under 5.
The WCD Boys & Girls Club of Jamestown is a United Way agency and all youth programming is funded in part by the United Way of Southern Chautauqua County.
