Gladys L. Kelly, 73, of 1008 Poland Center, Kennedy, died at 4:20 a.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2013, in her home.
Gladys was born in Jamestown, N.Y., a daughter of Frank and Gladys Michael Parsons and also was the daughter of Mildred Kinney who raised her.
Prior to retirement, Glady was employed as a waitress and caterer at Betty's Catering, Greenburg, Pa., and earlier at Van Stee Furniture and Jamestown Table Co. In her later years, she enjoyed catering.

Surviving are her husband, Samuel L. Kelly, whom she married in 1957; three sons: Samuel Kelly Jr. of North Carolina, William Kelly of Jamestown, and Keith Nash of Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren; 14 grandchildren; five sisters: Nancy Habubesh of Jamestown, Sally Machemer of Pennsylvania, Joyce Gilbert of South Carolina, Gladys Eggleston of Ellington, and Patricia Little of Jamestown,; and five brothers: Frank Parsons, Gerry, John Parsons, James-town, Jacob Little, Watertown, N.Y., Charles Little, California, and Ronald Little of Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by a son, Norman Kelly; a sister Mary Greenman; and two brothers: George Parsons and Robert Little Jr.
The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. on Saturday at Powers, Present & Sixbey Funeral Home.
