CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
CHERRY CREEK - Brenda Anderson, 55, was charged at 11 p.m. on Saturday with driving while intoxicated common law, driving while intoxicated per se with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater and operating an ATV on public highway. Deputies said they observed an ATV traveling eastbound on Prospect Street. The operator was stopped and later found to be intoxicated, police said. Anderson was released with traffic tickets to appear in Cherry Creek Court at a later date.
ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
Sarah R. Seaholm, 21, of Jamestown, was charged on Sunday with disorderly conduct. Officers said they observed a vehicle traveling on North Work Street with unreasonably loud music. The vehicle was stopped, and Seaholm was charged. She was issued an appearance ticket for Ellicott Court.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Marcy D. Thompson, 21, and Desire M. Williams, 21, both of Jamestown, were charged at 10:30 p.m. on Saturday with larceny. Police said both subjects were charged after allegedly stealing $67.28 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart on Fairmount Avenue. Most of the merchandise consisted of make-up and personal care items. Thompson and Williams were observed allegedly placing the items in their purses. Both were issued appearance tickets to be in court at a later date. Williams was found to have an outstanding warrant from Jamestown, police said. She was handed over to city police.
NEW YORK STATE POLICE
KIANTONE - Ruby Warner, 49, was charged on Friday with disorderly conduct. Troopers responded to a neighbor dispute and found Warner acting in a belligerent manner and refusing to cease her behavior despite commands, police said. Warner allegedly used obscene language at a volume that could be heard by neighbors. Warner was arraigned in Kiantone Court and is scheduled to be back at a later date.
HANOVER - John McLaughlin III was charged on Sunday with third-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal mischief. Troopers and Chautauqua County sheriff's deputies responded to a domestic disturbance. Police said McLaughlin punched drywall in the victim's residence and allegedly struck the victim in the head several times. McLaughlin also allegedly bit the victim, causing injury. He was taken into custody and is scheduled to appear in Hanover Court at a later date.
