JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Katie R. Ross, 23, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal contempt, unnecessary noise and an outstanding bench warrant Friday at 7:18 a.m. Officers were called to 185 Fairmount Ave., for a report of a woman screaming. Upon arrival, officers located Ross screaming loud enough for the entire neighborhood to hear. Officers then found a male subject hiding in the apartment and it was determined the male had an order of protection for Ross to stay away from him. Additionally, officers found there was an outstanding bench warrant for Ross out of Jamestown City Court. She was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment.
Elizabeth "Connie" G. Alteri, 47, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny and second-degree reckless endangerment Friday at 10:19 a.m. Officers responded to the Rite Aid at 50 S. Main St. for a report of a shoplifter in custody. Upon arrival, officers learned that employees apprehended Alteri attempting to leave the store without paying for $58.14 worth of merchandise. It was also learned that there was an outstanding arrest warrant for Alteri stemming from a June 26 incident. She was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment.
Ashley N. Neumann, 25, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree menacing, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and tampering with physical evidence, and Ashley D. Karash, 26, of Jamestown was charged with tampering with physical evidence Friday at 2:10 a.m. Officers responded to the area of Jefferson and West Eighth streets for a report of several people fighting and one female displaying a knife. An investigation revealed that Neumann allegedly displayed a knife and threatened a victim with it. Neumann fled the scene prior to officers arriving, but she was later found at her West 10th Street home. As officers were speaking to Neumann she attempted to conceal the knife under a cellphone that she passed to Karash. They were both transported to Jamestown City Jail where they were held pending arraignment.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT
CHARLOTTE - An 18-year-old male was charged with sexual misconduct following an April 2012 incident that occurred in Sinclairville. The man was 17 years old at the time, when he allegedly had an inappropriate sexual relationship with a female juvenile.
SALAMANCA POLICE DEPARTMENT
Jared Wagoner, 23, of Salamanca was charged with disorderly conduct and unlawful possession of marijuana Monday at 10:26 p.m. He was issued an appearance ticket for Salamanca City Court at a later date.
Dana L. Lichy, 26, of 4116 Route 353, was charged with second-degree criminal trespassing Tuesday at 11:05 a.m.
Hunter R. Tallchief, 20, of 8312 Old Route 17, Salamanca, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of alcohol under age 21 on Wednesday at 3 a.m. He was issued an appearance ticket for Salamanca City Court at a later date.
Wilson Clark, 33, of Salamanca was charged with third-degree assault and second-degree unlawful imprisonment following an alleged domestic dispute. He was held pending arraignment.
