OLEAN, N.Y. - Albert R. Terry of 417 S. Union St., Moss Apartments, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday (July 9, 2013), at his residence.
Born Jan. 30, 1968, in Jamestown, he was the son of Gregory and Gloria Dalrymple Quist.
Albert attended Celoron grade school in Jamestown, and graduated from Jamestown High School. He had been a resident of Olean, and worked at SubCon In-dustries. He also enjoyed attending the Continuing Day Treatment Program at the ReHabilitation Center.
He had wonderful qualities which included having a Christian temperament, an infectious smile, very polite behavior to all around him and being frugal, neat and orderly. He loved watching movies and professional wrestling on television and he was an avid reader of the TV Guide section of the newspaper. Another favorite activity was eating out at the QQ Buffet. The staff and the residents from Moss Apart-ments as well as his co-workers will miss him and the genuine concern and helpful attitude he always showed them.
Surviving are his father of Jamestown; two sisters: Mamie L. Cook and Delilah A. Terry, both of Jamestown; an uncle, Tim Dalrymple of Columbia, Md.; and a special longtime friend, Paul Ascoli.
He was preceded in death by his mother; and his grandparents Adele and Frank Quist.
Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 W. State Road, Olean, on Friday (July 12, 2013), from 10 a.m. until noon at which time funeral services will be held. The Rev. Wes Gilbert of Olean will officiate. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.
