City Man Charged Following Two-Car Accident

A Jamestown man was charged Thursday after police say he ran a red light at the intersection of Main and Second streets. Police charged Jason Hartranft, 30, after responding to the crash at 2:09 p.m. Witnesses told police Hartranft ran the red light as he was driving southbound on Main Street and struck a vehicle, driven by a 38-year-old Jamestown woman, who was eastbound on West Second Street. No serious injuries were reported.
