Strong, a kindergarten teacher at Love Elementary School for the past 10 years, started at the Y as a group leader in the Love Terrific Kids Club in 2011. In 2012, she directed the Discovery summer day camp program at the Jamestown YMCA and will continue this position this summer.

She has also volunteered at YMCA events such as Healthy Kids Day and Santa's Family Workshop in addition to being selected as the September 2012 YMCA Employee of the Month.
"Beth's ability to engage all students in challenging and fun activities that build on the developmental skills they need is amazing," said Migliore.
"Even the tougher kids seem to blossom in her classroom. She is not only creative and fun, but carries a joyful, willing attitude to do whatever is needed any time it's needed."
Strong resides in Jamestown with her husband Todd and two daughters: Emily and Molly.
