Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service Provides Assistance For Triathlon

Chautauqua County Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service, consisting of volunteers from local Amateur Radio Clubs, Chautauqua County Amateur FM Association, North County Amateur Radio Club, and other ham radio operators, provided assistance with event communications for the Big Fish Triathlon recently held at Camp Onyasha on Lake Chautauqua. Volunteers from fire, rescue, law enforcement, the Water Emergency Team and many other organizations took part. Pictured are Charlie Bryant and Kurt Carlson from NCARC and CCAFMA Radio Club's Andy O'Brien and Duane Buchweitz, county RACES coordinator. Not present for the photos were Ken Vossler, Dave Thompson, Darlene See, Tom Joneson, Doug Justham, and John and Elaine Crossley.
