Al "Bozie" Bosworth, 74, formerly of Jamestown, died April 3, 2013, in Ormond Beach, Fla., with his wife, Margaret by his side.
He was born April 18, 1938, in Salamanca, N.Y., the son of the late Gerald Bosworth and Lena Miriam Khun.
After graduating from Limestone High School on June 26, 1955, he joined the U.S. Army Mechanic Reinforcement Control Group from 1962 to 1964. He then worked at Bethlehem Steel in the 45X90 Bar Mill, Lackawana Plant from 1965 to 1982, Alumax Aluminum in Dunkirk, Cummins Engine Plant in Jamestown, and finally Seneca Allegany Casino in the maintenance department, where he finally retired at 70 to live the good life with his wife.
Al is survived by his wife of 40 years Margaret Jadlock; daughters: LaurieAnne (Richard) Moore and Tami Downey Clement (David Clement); nine grandchildren: P.J. (Bosworth) Karlstrom, Michael Moore, Ashley Moore, Travis Moore, Elyse Clement, Justin Downey, Natasha Downey, Maddison Clement and Olivia Clement; six great-grandchildren: Taliah and Jade Williams, Michael Moore Jr., Payton Whalen, Klair and Kole Karlstrom; and two sisters: Marcia Stevens and Lois Huckabone; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Kevin E. Bosworth; and sisters: Linda Ward and Sharon Shanks.
A memorial celebration for Al will be held on June 30, 2013, at Weeden Road Park, Randolph, N.Y. from 1-6 p.m.
