Spencer Kindberg, the bat boy for the Affinity One Credit Union Blue Jays, had plenty to celebrate as his team won its final regular-season Jamestown City Parks & Recreation League baseball game at Nordstrom Field on Saturday. See additional photos at cu.post-journal.com.

Zach Trim, Pat Nelson and Howard each had two hits while Roach tripled and Nolan Knipe doubled for VFW.
Jack Balzar collected three hits with a double for Gowanda.
SOUTHWESTERN AREA SPORTS
Mitch Pascarella blasted two home runs over the fence en route to six RBIs and four hits as the Pirates downed the Mets, 14-6, for the championship.
Ethan McNamara delivered a double and single while Jack Brinkley plated two runs with two hits.
Austin Schnars made two defensive gems in the outfield while Pascarella pitched three innings, Dom Certo two and Brinkley one for a combined nine strikeouts. The trio limited the Mets to four hits.
Hayden Brown stroked two hits with a triple and Tim Harris scored twice and reached base thrice in the loss.
The Davidson's Family Restaurant Tigers beat the Larson Orthodontics Cardinals, 15-13, behind the hitting of Peter Conley, Zach Kent, Jonas Gesing, Anthony Cipolla and Nick Cipolla.
Jack Lawton was a standout at second base in the win.
Andrew Nelson and Lukas Svenson led the offense and James Pirillo the defense for the Cardinals.
The Affinity One Blue Jays captured the league title after winning a pair of games on Saturday.
With the victories, the Blue Jays finished the regular season with an 18-2 mark.
In the first game, Affinity One toppled the Astros, 11-4, as Zach Breeding and Jimmy Nixon delivered three hits apiece.
Elijah Kester (double, triple), James Fiorella (double) and Ryan Samuelson chipped in with two hits each.
For the Astros, Jvyn Matve had two hits, including a triple.
In the second game, the Blue Jays defeated the Yankees, 16-3.
Katie Starks and Taylor Frankiewicz had three hits apiece, Christian Frankiewicz hit a pair of doubles, Josh Tonkin a single and a triple and Raylynn Digirolamo a double and a single in the victory.
Josh Donisi, Jonathan Donisi and Rickey Jo Dean recorded a hit apiece in the loss.
DARIEN LAKE BASEBALL
The Jamestown Tigers advanced out of pool play and into the single-elimination portion of the Darien Lake Baseball Tournament after splitting a doubleheader on Saturday.
The Tigers first took care of the Webster White Sox, a team from Rochester, 13-5, before falling to the Orchard Park Brakes, 7-0.
Robbie Burgess earned the complete-game victory over the White Sox, allowing five runs (four earned) on eight hits with six strikeouts.
At the plate, Burgess connected for three hits, including a triple, with four RBIs.
The Tigers scored four runs in both the third and fourth frames, and then tallied another three in the fifth to put the game from reach.
Along with Burgess, Brandon Johnston and Jacob Kindberg had two hits apiece; Winfred Nelson smacked a bases-loaded, bases-clearing double; Chris Haase had an RBI double; and AJ Genco an RBI single.
Jamestown was held to three hits - one apiece by Chad Nelson, Jeffrey Miller and Winfred Nelson - in the 7-0 loss.
The Tigers will be back in action today at 8:30 a.m., against the Orchard Park Thunder.

RUTH LEAGUE (13-15)
Kaylee Stenstrom drew a bases loaded walk in the sixth inning that forced in the winning run as the Eagles Club nipped the Jock Shop, 10-9.
Maverick Tomczak stroked two hits and Jacob Tonkin doubled for the winners, who had Matt Hill gain the win in relief of Tonkin.
Andrew Latona and Griffen Noon delivered two hits and Carson Peters doubled in the loss.
