Warnie D. Little, 83, of Bull Hill Road, Wrightsville, went home to his Lord and Savior on June 20, 2013, at the home of his granddaughter in Lottsville.
He was born Feb. 28, 1930, on Stoney Run in Wrightsville, a son of the late Richard and Treva (Bidwill) Little. Warnie at-tended the Wrightsville School House. His first job was with Asplunhd as a tree trimmer. He then went on to work at Warren Com-ponents for more than 40 years, retiring from there in 1991. He was also a self-employed farmer for most of his life. He attended the Wrightsville Community Church for many years. Warnie loved his horses and chickens, square dancing, roller skating and spending time with his fam-ily and many friends.
He is survived by his two children: Larry (Judy) Little and Susan (Curt) Dal-rymple, both of Wrightsville; his grandchildren: Travis (Kayla) Dalrymple, Chasity (Jonathan) Blanton, Cody Dalrymple and Courtney Dalrymple, and Casey (Matthew) Fisher; seven great-grandchildren: Cassandra and Wyatt Dalrymple, Lillyana and Abel-la Fisher, Avery Dalrymple, and Eviana and Laban Blanton; two sisters-in-law: Joy Little and Arlene Jukes; his aunt, "Toots" Juanita of Waterford; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Warnie was preced-ed in death by his wife, Helen Green Little, in 1998; three brothers: John and Ray Little, and Richard Jukes; an infant sister and brother; and a great-grandson, Abel Fisher.
A memorial service will be held at a later date, and will be announced by the family.
Memorial donations may be made to the Wrightsville Volunteer Fire Department or to a charity of choice.
