Bemus Point United Methodist Church will offer three Praise on the Lake worship services this summer, on Sundays, June 23, July 21 and Aug. 18 at 9 a.m. on the Floating Stage in Bemus Point.
This first shoreline Praise on the Lake marks the final service for Pastor Dan McBride, completing 33 years of ministry in the Bemus Point community. Contemporary praise music, provided by one of three worship teams will complement the message.
Those planning to attend should bring a lawn chair, kayak, or boat for the contemporary worship experience. Seating for the convenience of the elderly and handicapped is available on the upper deck of the Italian Fisherman.
BPUMC offers regular contemporary services at the church at 8:30 and 10 a.m. and a traditional service at 11 a.m. on all other Sundays. The church is located at 4954 Bemus-Ellery Road, a quarter-mile off Interstate 86, exit 10, toward Ellery Center.
