Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop's Jamestown-area guests will now get to enjoy what they love from the bakery cafe chain in an entirely new setting.
Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop originally launched in the Jamestown market in March 2001 with the opening of the South Main Street location. Local restaurant owners, Victor, Brenda and Blake Tarana, own and operate all four area restaurants including the South Main Street restaurant and the newest location at 1311 N. Main St., which opened in October.
"The support from the Jamestown community has been vital to the success of our four restaurants," said Victor Tarana, Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop restaurant owner. "We are thrilled to be offering our Jamestown guests a new and even better experience when they visit any of our area restaurants."
Renovations on the Jamestown restaurants began in early May. The renovated locations include: 21 S. Main St., Jamestown; 277 E. Fairmount Ave., Lakewood; and1361 E. Second St., Jamestown.
The original Jamestown restaurant on 21 S. Main St. will reopen at 5 a.m. Friday. The Taranas will be celebrating the grand re-opening beginning next week. The restaurant, which underwent a complete redesign to feature the Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop signature look, closed June 9 for renovations. Improvements include a new open concept design featuring theater-style baking and coffee preparation, new soft seating, booth and bar seating, new contemporary flooring and a new patio.
The other two restaurants on Fairmount Avenue and on East Second Street underwent improvements, which included new exterior signage and paint and new interior features like pendant lighting, soft seating, a fireplace and TV.
