The Westfield Memorial Hospital Foundation's 21st annual Golf Tournament, which will be held July 12, at the Chautauqua Golf Club, will mark the foundation's 35th anniversary.
As the major source of fundraising for the hospital, the foundation's mission is to provide financial support for the delivery of high-quality health care to the residents of the Chautauqua region. The golf tournament is a major contributor to annual philanthropic campaigns.
WMHF's mission this year is endorsed by the Westfield Memorial Hospital Medical Staff as a major sponsor. Proceeds will be used to purchase state-of-the-art medical equipment for the Emergency Department.

In addition to each tournament winner receiving a $150 gift certificate to Chautauqua Golf Club Pro Shop, there will be prizes for the longest drive for men and women, straightest drive, as well as a betting-hole winner. Tickets also will be available to the public for a drawing to be held the day of the tournament. Items include a LG 47-inch 3D LED ultra-slim HD television, two box seats to the Oct. 13 Buffalo Bills vs. Cincinnati Bengals game, an Apple iPad 16-gig, a Kindle Fire HD, a wicker-style patio pub set, a child's pedal car, day/night passes to Chautauqua Institution and many more items.
Tournament sponsorship opportunities are available to promote area businesses which also will help to sustain the hospital.
These are available starting at a double-diamond level for $2,000, which includes two foursomes for the tournament and the business name on the program and on a tee sign. Also available are Diamond, Golf Ball Sponsor, Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze Level sponsorships.
The day will be topped off with a cocktail reception and a dinner prepared by Andriaccio's Restaurant. Family and friends of the golfers also are invited to the dinner for an extra cost per person.
The tournament is chaired by Patty DiPalma, WMHF development director; and co-chaired by Sid Hoyt, WMHF board member and longtime golfer. Foundation committee members are Teri Casler, John Rawlinson and Ann Weidman; volunteers, Mary Margaret Fogarty, Ruth Ann Raines, and Carolyn Rawlinson and hospital associates, Laura Asel, Patty Ballman, Ed Brooks, Sherry Carlson, Linda Dorman, Don Dougan, Linda Dougan, Cindy Harper, Kate Mead, Holly Momberger, Kim Raynor, Doug Sanderson, Amy Smith and Barry Wright.
