Northwest Savings Bank, a parent company to Jamestown Savings Bank, recently committed $25,500 to the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation's Caring and Giving Campaign.
The Caring and Giving Campaign, created by the foundation to honor 35 years of serving the community, combines the vision of the foundation's founders with the unknown future needs of the Chautauqua Region. All money raised from this campaign will go into the Fund for the Region.
"For 35 years, the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation has addressed the needs of our community by granting money from funds that have no designation. The Fund for the Region has supported many local organizations, most recently Chautauqua Lake, WCA Hospital and schools looking to adopt STEM education," said Randy Sweeney, executive director of the Community Foundation.
