CHERRY CREEK - Janet L. Fish, 68, of Heritage Village Rehab and Skilled Nursing, formerly of Cherry Creek, died Mon-day, June 10, 2013, at WCA Hospital.
She was born Dec. 10, 1944, in Lockport, the daughter of the late Eugene and Irene Terry Noble.
She formerly attended Lockport and Pine Valley Schools.
Prior to retirement Janet was employed as a nurse's aide by Johnson Homes for many years and as a laborer for Comstock Foods and Dunkirk Ice Cream.
She was a member of the Cherry Creek Fireman's Auxiliary and a social member of Cherry Creek Veterans of Foreign Wars. Janet enjoyed being out-doors, being with family and picnics.
Wife of the late Kenneth Fish; mother of Kenneth Fish of Rochester, Keith (Teri) Fish of Forestville, Kurt Fish of Newport Richey, Fla., and Kimberlee (Russell) Swartz of James-town; grandmother of Justin, Jason, Kaitlin, Hannah, Jordan and Krystal Fish, Jed and Jason Swartz and the late Dustin Swartz; great-grandmother of four and expecting two more; and sister of the late Mary Carlson, Nettie Heilman and Sarah Noble. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Funeral service 11 a.m. Monday, in Jordan Funeral Home, Sinclairville. Visitation 5-8 p.m. Sunday. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Sinclairville.
