CHAUTAUQUA - The McDonald's Senior Tour visited the Lake Course at Chautauqua Golf Club on Monday and using the modified Stableford scoring system, Bob Wood was the winner in Flight A with plus 6.
Wood was followed by Carl Malta with plus 4, Tom Short had plus 3 and Wood fired a 79 for the low net.
In Flight B, Don Hustead took first place with zero while Ken Aldrich and Merle Elkin were tied for second place with a minus 1. Aldrich and Hustead each carded an 89 to share the low gross title.
Jerry Adams posted a plus 4 for first place in Flight C, followed by Dennis Richards with plus 2 and Larry Spencer was at even for third. Richards also shot an 91.
Dene Lindquist led Flight D with plus 7 and also shot a 93 for low gross honors ,Tom O'Brien took second with plus 3 and Bob Kaus produced plus one.
In Flight E, Duey Anderson was first with plus 5, Dave Nichols took second place with plus 3 and Gary Simon was third with zero.
Dick Ingraham took Flight F with plus 3 and fired a 108 for low gross, Tom Harte was second with plus 3 and Don Garfield placed third with Don Garfield in third at plus 1.
Wayne Schuver and Carl Malta tied for closest-to-the-pin honors on No. 4, Pat Hepinger was closest on No. 6, Brian Eckwahl on No. 18, Randy Carlson on No. 12 and Phil Holland on No. 15.
Breezewood Golf Course will host the McDonald's tour on Monday, beginning at 9 a.m.
