COLD SPRING - A 17-year-old male was arraigned and committed to Cattaraugus County Jail following the investigation of a burglary in the town of Cold Spring.
The male, whose identity was not released, was charged with second-degree burglary, two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, second-degree criminal possession of weapon, criminal sale of a firearm, defacement of a weapon and three counts of criminal possession of stolen property.
State Police, who were assisted by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office and Seneca Nation of Indians Marshal's Office, learned the male was allegedly responsible for the burglary in May. The suspect was found to be in possession of numerous stolen firearms, a police report said.
The male was arraigned in Conewango Court and committed to County Jail on $10,000 cash, $15,000 property bond.
