Jack E. Lindquist, 83, of 2546 Carlson Road passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at Heritage Green Rehab & Skilled Nursing.
He was born in Jamestown on Aug. 5, 1929, a son of the late Gunnard and Ruth Anderson Lindquist. A 1947 graduate of Jamestown High School, he then served for three years in the U.S. Army, Coastal Defense Division.
Jack was employed for 28 years by Adanlock as a draftsman, retiring in 1987. He was also a member of First Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife, Marylee Bloom Lind-quist, whom he married Aug. 7, 1965; a daughter, Cynthia Lindquist and a son, Mark Lindquist; two brothers, Merrill Lindquist and Paul Lindquist; and a sister, Marilyn Ross.
A private family service will be held. The Rev. Daniel K. Nagle will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery. Visitation will not be observed.
