To the Readers' Forum:
As I was leaving a local restaurant the other evening with three other senior citizens, we heard loud and boisterous noises on our left. There were eight teenagers approaching the exit at the very same time. Six of the teenagers barged ahead of us.
The seventh teenager, a girl, stopped, smiled at us and signaled for us to exit while she waited. I salute this young lady for her good manners!
The next morning's ''Today's Thought'' in The Post-Journal read: ''The hardest job kids face today is learning good manners without seeing any.'' Fred Astaire
I salute this young lady's parents as well! If she should read this comment, please accept my thank you for your courtesy!
