Cattaraugus County Bank recently hired Kathy Kaus as vice president and senior retail loan officer, working primarily at the bank's main office in Little Valley.
Kaus has been in banking for more than 27 years. She has an Accelerated Banking Certificate from AIB and graduated from America's Community Bankers National School of Banking in 2006. She lives in Silver Creek and is active in the community. She sits on the board of the United Way of Northern Chautauqua County and the Chautauqua Home Rehabilitation and Improvement Corporation, in addition to committee membership for the Northern Community Foundation Grants Committee and Dunkirk Rotary. "The board of directors and I are pleased Kathy has joined CCB's management team," said Salvatore Marranca, Cattaraugus County Bank president and chief executive officer. "Kathy's long-term banking career will help CCB grow and develop in a newly structured retail lending area. Her knowledge of mortgage lending and consumer lending will benefit both CCB and our important customer base. She has many new, progressive ideas in those areas and I'm confident that Kathy's proven track record and experience will result in CCB moving ahead as needed."
