Clymer was the only area baseball team to claim a top seed when the Section 6 playoff schedule was announced on Saturday.
The Pirates are the top team in Class D and open play Wednesday against the Monday winner between No. 8 Forestville and No. 9 Sherman.
North Collins, seeded No. 2, takes on the winner of No.7 West Valley and No 10 Ellicottville while No. 6 Panama travels to third-seeded and defending champion Pine Valley, and No. 5 Ripley is at No. 4 Brocton.
Pine Valley has won Class D the last four years and six of the last seven years.
In Class C, No. 6 Frewsburg put its impressive six-year title reign on the line when it takes on No. 11 Randolph on Monday in the prequarterfinals.
Also on Monday, No. 15 Silver Creek is at No. 2 Leonardo da Vinci, No. 16 Salamanca is at Chautauqua Lake, No. 10 Olmsted is at No. 7 Maple Grove, No. 14 Holland is at No. 3 Westfield, No. 5 Cassadaga Valley hosts No. 12 Barker and No. 9 Cattaraugus-Little Valley goes to No. 8 Allegany-Limestone.
The number one team in Class C is Middle College, which meets the winner of Salamanca-Chautauqua Lake on Tuesday.
Jamestown is seeded No. 9 and plays at No. 8 Kenmore West in the Class AA prequarterfinal on Monday. A win there means another road trip to No. 1 Clarence on Wednesday.
Falconer and Southwestern are also in action on Monday with the No. 10 Golden Falcons playing at No. 7 Royalton-Hartland and the No. 12 Trojans on the road at No. 4 Medina in Class B-2 prequarterfinals.
Fredonia, seeded No. 2 in Class B-2, plays its first game against the Falconer-Roy-Hartland survivor on Tuesday in the quarterfinals.
Dunkirk, which is No. 10 in Class B-1, treks to No. 7 Alden on Monday and a win there means another trip to No. 2 Albion on Tuesday.
