POLAND - A town of Poland resident was charged Monday with endangering the welfare of a child after police said he left his 8-month-old child in a vehicle for two hours.
Troopers out of the State Police barracks in Jamestown said Chad Swan, 23, of Scott Hill Road, left his child unattended in the vehicle while he was sleeping inside his residence. The child's mother found Swan asleep; the child was found uninjured in the vehicle by a member of the family.
Swan was arraigned in Poland Court and scheduled to return June 6.
