Jessica Pace swung the bat with authority Monday afternoon in Division 1 girls softball.
Pace delivered six runs on four singles to support the pitching of McKenzie Martin as Jamestown (3-4, 3-5) belted Gowanda (1-5), 17-4, at the Martin Road Complex.
Martin went the distance with seven strikeouts, six hits with a walk and only two earned runs in the win.

Hannah Pollino came through with two triples among her three hits and Kaytlin Haines scored five runs on three hits and two walks for Jamestown, which had 17 hits.
Alexis Farner had a triple in the loss.
FALCONER OUTLASTS A-L
FALCONER - It certainly turned out to be one wild day as Falconer hosted Allegany-Limestone.
The Lady Golden Falcons (4-2, 4-5) seemingly had things under control, but the Lady Gators wouldn't quit. When the smoke cleared, it was Falconer coming away with a 17-16 victory.
Falconer's bats were on fire early on and by the fifth inning, the Lady Golden Falcons held a 16-8 advantage.
But Allegany-Limestone started to chip away and by the top of the seventh it had rallied to tie the game at 16-16.
With two outs in the bottom of the seventh, Falconer's Kaylei Russell walked , Kaylee Keith sacrificed her to second, and Molly Arrance moved the runners to second and third on a grounder. Jenna Fellows came to bat and hit a smash single off the shortstop's glove to knock in the winning run.
Katie Hines went the distance to get the win, striking out three. On offense, Fellows contributed three hits and four RBIs, Shannon McFall added three hits and three RBIs, Brianna McFall drilled three hits and Arrance delivered two hits and four RBIs.
For the Lady Gators, Brandi Fuller slammed a home run and single with two RBIs, Alli Forness added three hits and two RBIs and Cazlyn Shea also had a home run.
BURK LEADS SWCS
Southwestern improved to 4-3 for the season, thanks to a solid outing from Sydney Burk, and the Lady Trojans posted a 5-3 victory over Dunkirk.
Burk tossed a complete game with six strikeouts, just one walk and gave up four hits.
Southwestern scored three runs in the third inning to take the lead, paced by a double from Jenna Rauh and a bloop single by Britta Johnson that brought home a run.
Rauh ended her day with a double and two singles and Johnson singled and doubled.
For the Lady Marauders, Khee Nance had two hits, including a home run, and Lacey Clark doubled while Kelsey Drummond picked up the loss, going three innings.
