Chautauqua Lake Central School, with the assistance of the Chautauqua County Baseball Umpires Association, will sponsor the seventh annual High School Baseball Showcase on Friday and Saturday at Diethrick Park.
The Showcase kicks off on April 26 at 4:30 p.m. with a league game between Westfield and Chautauqua Lake, followed by another league game between Allegany-Limestone and Southwestern.
On April 27 at 10 a.m., Randolph will take on West Valley in a non-league game, followed by Panama taking on Brocton at 1 p.m., also a non-league battle.
Pine Valley will play Ripley in non-league action at 4 p.m. and Falconer will meet Maple Grove at 7 p.m., also in non-league play.
There will be a gate fee of $1 for students K-12 and senior citizens and $2 for adults. Fees go to help Chautauqua Lake baseball, to add to the Chautauqua County Baseball Umpire's Association Scholarship Fund and to offset some of the costs associated with operating the Showcase.
