FREWSBURG - Pine Valley and Frewsburg went back and forth on Tuesday in a non-league baseball battle, but the Bears (4-5) broke a 7-7 tie in the bottom of the sixth to post an 11-7 victory.
The Panthers jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first, but Frewsburg kept plugging away and held a 7-6 lead in the fourth. Pine Valley tied the game again in the fifth, but the Bears scored four in the sixth to preserve the win.
Dane Johnson relieved starter Pat Caldwell in the fourth for the Bears and gave up just one hit, four walks and a run while striking out four. He also doubled and singled.

Offensively, Frewsburg had 14 hits as Bryce Peterson slammed a double and a triple, Tage Johnson had three hits and four RBIs, Trevor Spicer added two hits and Caldwell contributed three hits.
Thomas Raiport went five innings for Pine Valley with three strikeouts and five walks. He also had two hits and Lucas Trombley produced three RBIs.
