Monte-Rose Issler, 89, of Highland Avenue, in Brocton, N.Y., passed away Sunday afternoon (April, 21, 2013), at Absolut at Dunkirk, in Dunkirk, N.Y., after a short illness.
Monte-Rose was born in Brocton, N.Y., on Feb. 3, 1924, and was the daughter of the late Henry and Frances Bigelow Legters. She lived in Brocton all of her life, where she spent her time being a homemaker for her family.
She is survived by her husband, Mark A Issler, whom she was married to for 61 years; a son, Jeff Issler of Brocton, N.Y.; and two daughters: Cynthia Issler of Clarence Center, N.Y., and Mrs. Debra Mende of Derby, N.Y.; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
At the request of the family, there will be no prior visitation. The funeral service will be announced and held at a later time.
