Kathleen LaMarca Hayes, 54, of Kent, Wash., formerly of Jamestown, N.Y., passed away April 12, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Angeline Tilaro LaMarca.
Kathleen graduated from Jamestown High School, Jamestown Business College and attended Jamestown Community College prior to entering the U.S. Navy.
Although she lived all over the world in the Navy and with her family, she called Jamestown her home.
She was a beloved wife and mother and is survived by her husband, Russell Hayes; and the light of their life, their daughter, Christina, who is a student at Pacific Lutheran University. She is also survived by a sister, Marilyn Swanson of Sarasota, Fla.; a nephew, Kevin Holdridge and a great-nephew, Anthony Holdridge of Concord, N.C.; a niece, Rachel Calderaro of Jacksonville, Fla.; aunts and several cousins from Jamestown and the surrounding area.
Her life ended too soon, and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
A military service will be held on April 25 at the Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Wash.
