Celoron-West Ellicott Seniors will meet at noon Wednesday in the Celoron Legion Post. Members attending should take a tureen to share and their table service. Virginia and Chuck Carlson, Betty and Stan Bachelor are the committee.
Forty-three seniors met for a St. Patrick dinner, catered by the Herman Kent American Legion. Arlene Christopherson, president, greeted the group and asked the blessing. June Federko introduced Nancy Ingram, The Resource Center Program Operations assistant executive director, who spoke on the history and services available to all residents.
Adrian Smith gave humorous readings.
Reports by the secretary and treasurer were accepted as read. Bev Lindstrom spoke on future trips.
Christopherson stated that Senior Council dues were paid for the group treasurer. Council meetings are the second Thursday of each month. She also introduced and installed new officers. They are Nola Riley, president; Nancy Wymer, vice president; Federko, secretary; Christopherson, treasurer; Peg Gould and Bev Linamen, sunshine; Jeanne Sampson and Barb Olander, program.
Games were played and prizes awarded.
The meeting closed with prayer and song.
