A vehicle involved in a two-car accident managed to crash itself into the porch of a Forest Avenue home Friday.
Jamestown Police and fire departments responded to a vehicular accident on Forest and Newland avenues at 6:18 p.m. on Friday.
After passing a red traffic signal, a 1992 Chevrolet pickup operated by Vincent Delmonaco, 28, of Jamestown, collided with a 2003 Saturn carrying five people, operated by a 17-year-old from Jamestown. After the accident, the five occupants of the Saturn excited the vehicle, including the driver, who left the vehicle in gear. While unoccupied, the Saturn traveled South on Forest Avenue causing damage to property at 262 Forest Ave. before colliding with the porch of 251 Forest Avenue; causing further property damage. No injuries were reported.

Delmonaco was issued a traffic ticket for passing a red light. The 17-year-old was issued three traffic tickets for unlicensed operation, operating without a 21-year-old supervisor and more than one passenger while operating with a permit. Both operators will appear in court at a later time.
