On Sunday at 7 p.m., Mna' Tri' will perform at the Music Salon Series at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Jamestown, 1255 Prendergast Ave., Jamestown. Mna' Tri' consists of Ann Meadon flute; Victoria Hanson on cello; and Joan Eighmey on piano.
Mna' Tri' has been performing for the past five years. Ann Mead has a master's degree in music education from SUNY Fredonia, Vicki Hanson has a bachelor's degree in cello from Duquesne University, and Joan Eighmey has a master's degree in piano performance and literature from the Eastman School of Music.
Mna' Tri' will perform The Harp of the Dagda by James Sclater, retired professor of composition at Mississippi College, a piece the trio commissioned. This season's program, in addition to The Harp of the Dagda includes The Gardens of Anna Maria Luisa de Medici by Hilary Tann, Voces de mi Tierra by Elisenda Fabregas and Three Dances by Scott Joplin.
