Two men face charges following execution of a search warrant Friday by Jamestown Police.
At about 9:30 p.m., officers and investigators executed a warrant at 113 Willard St. An investigation into the illegal sale of crack cocaine in the Jamestown area indicated that sales were taking place at that address.
Members of the police department's SWAT team made entry and located Christopher J. Howie, 41, inside the apartment. Anthony W. Cunningham, a current parolee, did jump out a window and attempt to flee but was apprehended by the K-9 unit.
Both were charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Cunningham is also charged with first-degree criminal nuisance and obstructing governmental administration.
A large amount of crack cocaine and cash were seized from the residence.
Howie and Cunningham were transported to city jail awaiting arraignment.
Anyone who has information on the illegal sales of narcotics is asked to contact the JPD's tip line at 483-TIPS (483-8477). All calls will be kept anonymous and confidential.
