Instructors from Jamestown Community will present classes at the Prendergast Library this spring on a variety of computer uses at introductory to advanced levels.
"The library is very pleased to offer instruction on some new computer topics through this valuable partnership with Jamestown Community College," said Annie Greene, head of family literacy and acting head of adult services at the Prendergast Library.
Courses include Advanced Word Processing (Word 2010); Introduction to Spreadsheets (Excel 2010); Introduction to Word Processing (Word 2010); Computers for Beginners; Basics of the Internet, Emailing, and Surfing the Web Introduction to the Internet; Basic Internet Surfing and Learning to Shop Online Safely Introduction to the Internet; and Basic Internet Skills and Lingo such as blogging and Understanding a Web Presence - Introduction to the Internet.

Classes will take place in April and May. Some are multi-session. Others meet only once.
