The Chautauqua County Humane Society's Pets of the Week are two "special needs" pets. Roxie, above left, is a 4-year-old lab mix that came to the Humane Society with an old injury from being hit by a car. She has nerve damage in her leg and doesn't use it but it doesn't bother her. She can be a little shy, but she warms up quickly. She would do best in a home without small children and a family that would give her time to adjust. Trinia, above right, is a 6-month-old kitty that also came in with nerve damage to a leg from an old injury. She would drag her leg, so it was determined it would be best for her if she had surgery to remove it. She is healing wonderfully and is very sweet. She would do well in any home but would still need a little time to completely heal. For more information, visit the Pet Adoption Center at 2825 Strunk Road, Jamestown, or call 665-2209.
