JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPT.
Anthony R. Ford, 39, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt. Officers on Tuesday at 7:32 p.m. were dispatched to East Second Street for a violation of an order of protection. Ford was found to have allegedly violated the order. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail awaiting arraignment.
WESTFIELD POLICE DEPT.
A 16-year-old youth was charged with second-degree harassment. Officers on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. responded to a domestic incident on Oak Street. Police learned the youth allegedly punched his sister in the face and ribs several times. The youth will appear in village court at a later date.
ELLICOTT POLICE DEPT.
Josh A. Moore, 32, of Whallen Road, was charged with petit larceny. Police said Moore on Feb. 26 allegedly stole property from Sam's Club. He appeared in Ellicott Court and was committed to Chautauqua County Jail.
Joathylet M. Ruedas, of Winsor Street, Jamestown was charged with petit larceny. Ruedas admitted to taking two gift cards worth $800. Ruedas was issued an appearance ticket and will be back in court at a later date.
Samantha M. Fluent, 27, of Jamestown, was charged with petit larceny. Police said Fluent allegedly stole $45.61 worth of merchandise at Wal-Mart on Fairmount Avenue on Tuesday at 9:55 p.m. She was issued an appearance ticket and will be back in court at a later date.
NEW YORK STATE POLICE
FALCONER - Carrie Mozdy, 53, of Erie, Pa., was charged with driving while intoxicated. Mozdy was stopped on Route 394 in Falconer for a traffic violation. She allegedly failed several field sobriety tests, and was transported to police barracks where she provided a breath sample of .14 percent. Mozdy was processed and issued appearance tickets.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
Joseph R. Fernandes, 38, of North Main Street, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and third-degree assault. He was arraigned in Albion Court and will be back in court at a later date.
