An early morning traffic stop led to multiple charges against three area teenagers.
Jamestown police on Wednesday around 2 a.m. stopped a vehicle near the intersection of Briggs and Institute streets for making an improper right turn. The driver, Alexis M. Pratt, 19, of Jamestown was found to be intoxicated, and was taken into custody.
Passengers in the vehicle, Joey D. Stutzman, 18, of Jamestown and Allison P. Langworthy, 19, of Lakewood were allegedly found to be in possession of open containers of alcohol while in the vehicle.
Stutzman and Langworthy also were taken into custody, and charged with public consumption of alcohol, a police report said.
The teenagers were taken to Jamestown City Jail without incident. An investigation later found Pratt had lied to officers about her identity.
Pratt was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater, false personation and improper right turn.
All three were awaiting arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
