HANOVER - A 21-year-old Angola woman faces charges of unsafe speed and failing to keep right following a two-vehicle accident in the Town of Hanover.
Deputies responding to the accident on Alleghany Road on Friday investigated and found Jennifer Lee was traveling northbound on Alleghany Road near the intersection of Bradley when her vehicle entered onto a snow-covered roadway. Lee was traveling at an unsafe speed and as a result lost control causing her to cross the double solid line into the southbound lane, striking an oncoming vehicle driven by a 45-year-old Frewsburg man.
Occupants of both vehicles were checked by Hanover Center and Silver Creek first responders. Lee was later transported to Lakeshore Hospital for evaluation of apparent minor injuries. Lee will appear in Hanover Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
