Rotarians Volunteer At Festival

Although Rotary members fight polio and support installation of pure water for poor nations, they also park cars. Two Westfield/Mayville Rotary Club members who volunteered at the recent Presidents Day Weekend Winter Festival were Ben Spitzer of Mayville, left, and John "Doc" Hamels of Ripley. And, once again, there was no ice with which to build a castle, so the Mayville/Chautauqua Chamber of Commerce, sponsors of the annual Presidents Day Weekend Winter Festival, gathered as much snow as they could and built a snow castle. In addition, this year's event introduced a Lego Creation Building Contest for the children.
