Members of the Chautauqua County Art Teachers will display their work at the James Prendergast Library Art Gallery Friday through April 26.
An opening reception to meet the teachers and view their work will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. Friday in the Fireplace Room at the library. The reception is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be served.
"We expect to show a great variety of art work by representatives of many local school districts," said Terry Carlson of Jamestown High School, exhibit chairperson.

A show by members of the professional organization for county art teachers has become an annual tradition at Prendergast Library.
"Every year, it's exciting for students and their parents to see new art work that has been created by local teachers," Carlson said.
The school-library partnership provides a showcase for instructors' talents and a chance for the public to see the show, said Tina Scott, acting library director.
Gallery hours for the teachers' exhibit will be 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays, and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays.
The next Prendergast exhibit will be Colors of the Spirit by Jamie Quick, photographer, and Asterie Michell, multimedia artist. The library is located at 509 Cherry St., Jamestown. For information, call 484-7135.
