The Jamestown Lakers went 3-0 in round-robin play Friday and Saturday to advance to today's championship game at the Northern Chautauqua County Youth Hockey Association tournament at SUNY Fredonia's Steele Hall.
The Lakers topped the host NCCYHA Steelers on Friday as Cooper Spielman netted a hat trick, including the game-winning goal at the 6:11 mark of the third period. Trenton Shutters opened the scoring and had an assist for Jamestown while other assists went to Chase Jones and Evan Bishop.

Zachary Korzeniewski scored from Gabe Schrader, Ikaika Wojcinski scored from Alexander Rush and Hunter Hehir scored from Jack Swanson for the Steelers.
In Saturday's morning game, the Lakers topped the Aurora Ice, 8-1, behind a hat trick from Shutters. Jack Brinkley added two goals while Will Turner, Spielman and Callum Smith also scored in the win. Turner added a pair of assists while Shutters, Spielman, Jones, Zechariah Padd and Brinkley each had an assist for the Lakers.
Christopher Keller scored the Ice's lone goal from Thomas Wlodarczyk.
In Saturday's afternoon game, the Lakers edged the Erie Lions, 3-2, behind two quick first-period goals. Smith opened the scoring from Jones at the 47-second mark while Spielman scored from Devin Wolfe less than a minute later. Turner scored the eventual game-winning goal from Spielman and Wolfe in the second period.
J.J. George and Dominic Kaiser scored for the Lions in a game that featured 12 penalties.
Aiden Gibbons was in goal for all three of the Lakers' wins.
