Leslie D. "Les" Rowland, 51, of Jamestown, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday (March 12, 2013), in WCA Hospital.
A lifelong area resident, he was born Oct. 4, 1961, in Jamestown, the son of the late Joseph and Wanda Schrader Rowland.
Les attended Jamestown High School, and in earlier years was employed by DeBell Vending. He enjoyed restoring and renovating old homes, fishing and boating.

Surviving are two daughters: Christina Rowland of Falconer, and Christina States of Jacksonville, Fla.; three sons: Shawn Rowland and Lawrence F. Rowland, both of Jamestown, and Lester D. Rowland of Washington, D.C.; 14 grandchildren; his wife, Lisa Huddleson; four stepchildren; two stepgrandchildren; a brother, Mitchell Rowland of Randolph; and a nephew, Joe Proper of Jamestown.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sheila F. Proper; and a nephew, James Proper.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Falconer Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert Reeves will officiate.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service Friday in the funeral home.
