The United Senior Council of Chautauqua County will meet Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Jamestown Senior Center, 525 Falconer St., Jamestown.
Mr. Kearney from Verdant Home Energy will be guest speaker. Many seniors, as well as others in the community, can achieve some assistance with home energy with regards to insulating and making some changes in their homes that can make them more energy efficient as well as save them money. He will have applications and will explain the process for applying for this assistance. United Senior Council welcomes all and any seniors interested in this information.
The United Senior Council is a nonprofit organization serving the seniors of Chautauqua County by offering informative speakers on topics pertaining to seniors; providing workshops and support programs that provide friendships, cultural achievements, recreational and instructional activities for all persons 50 years or older.
Meetings are held on the second Thursday of every month at a different senior citizen location.
