The February meeting of the Chautauqua County American Legion was held recently at the John W. Dill Post 434 in Brocton.
Various committee reports were given including one on help for homeless veterans given by various organizations. The selection of the Boy and Cub Scout of the Year will be held on April 21 at the Lakewood Memorial Post starting at 2 p.m.
The orientation seminar for Boys State will be held on June 2 at the Brocton Legion.
The next meeting of the county legion will be on March 22 at the William L. Travis Post 493 in Mayville. All Legionnaires are urged to attend.
