Each year, Falconer FBLA members try to come up with a special project that has a positive impact in their local community. This year, their project hit very close to home. One of their fellow chapter members was diagnosed with lymphoma in late November, and the group decided they wanted to do something to help her and her family. As a result, the benefit for Sydney Kresconko became the project with a goal of helping combat the financial burden of medical and travel expenses. After several weeks of planning, gathering donations and fine-tuning details, the event was held on Jan. 19. The benefit was a huge success with more than 500 attendees and countless donations of time, talent and auction items. Falconer FBLA would like to thank everyone who showed their support in making the day extra special and a success beyond their expectations.
